The realistic graphics are a really powerful aid to help non-tech stakeholders visualise and understand the process. But the nice graphics hide the real power of the simulation; all scoops, loads, piles, travel distances, bottlenecks, breakdowns, and throughputs, are tracked and reported on.
Experimentation of scenarios and optimisation of variables gives the ability to “play with” the number of resources available, and any other variable you need to examine.
